I cannot figure out how to shrink a picture to post!!!!
I had so much trouble in the beginning too! I used this site:
http://www.picnik.com/
It's free, but just make sure you make your photo SQUARE, otherwise it's out of proportion if that makes sense? You know those profile pics you see and it looks like one of those distorted mirrors, all stretched? Just make sure your pic is square and you'll be laughing!

Hi, I had the same problem and someone helped me....Here's what I found out and it works so well and it's very easy: go to www.shrinkpictures.com Follow the directions, select 100 as the size and go from there. Barb

You actually can do it from your own programs on your computer, and not have to go to a internet program. First make a copy of the pic, just incase you mess up ****il you figure out exactly how it works)..then right click on the pic > click on 'open with'> click on Paint > when it opens click on Image > click on Resize > then decrease the Horizontal and Vertical Percentage until you get the desired size.
Or
Copy the pic > right click on the copy and go to Open with > Microsoft Office Picture manager > when pic opens click on Picture> click on Resize> Click Percentage of Original Width X Height > then decrease percentage until desired size (this area will show your pic size decreasing as you decrease the percentages)..when you have the desired size click OK.
Hope this helps. Good Luck! :)
