Haven't been on here fo a while!

i am 1 year and 3 months out and went from 220 to 125 (my goal is 100).

for breakfast i had 4 scrambled egg whites (14 protein!!)-is that ok or should i be eating less?

thank you!!

How did you scramble them?  Dry or with butter/oil?

14 grams of protein for just a few grams of fat and no carbs sounds fine.  I would wonder if you are eating enough.  Are you nice and satisfied after eating just those egg whites?  If so, I'd say that is a decent breakfast.  I personally need more.  I generally have half a ''serving'' of fat free Greek yogurt, 25g of raspberry or blueberry and a whole hard boiled egg.  Fills me up, tastes great, and keeps me satiated for hours.

If you have the sleeve it's not going to stretch really.  We gain capacity over time because the swelling goes down.

Now, you might (and it's still unlikely) if you are stuffing yourself to the point of throwing up for years and years at every meal.  This is because the part that can stretch, called the fundus, was predominately removed.  The RNY pouches can stretch because they are made differently.

I follow a ketogenic diet post-op. I also have a diagnosis of binge eating disorder. Feel free to ask me about either!

egg whites alone are an incomplete protein. You need the yolk too to make a complete protein Source.

Egg yolks are super healthy, why did you only eat the whites?

I aim for 20 grams of protein per meal, so I'd have to compensate for 14 grams at breakfast with a bit more at a later meal.
