The men on this forum have been a constant source of motivation and encouragement and I want to say a huge thanks to you all!.

Hey Tom, welcome to the board. Glad you were able to find us.

It is going to be great to have you on the loosers bench! BTW - I was dreading the cath removal but it didn't hurt a bit! Please have someone keep us posted on your progress and I will be praying for you. See you back real soon!

AM with breakfast: 1 Flintstones, 1 sub-lingual B-12
PM with lunch and supper: 4 calcium citrates with vit. D - a total of 1200mg calcium
Thats it!

Happy to tell everyone I just had to punch a couple of new holes in my belt. I have had a few instances of my pants dropping as I walked. Great feeling. I am 70 lighter than I was 2 weeks prior to my surgery.
On a different note... I am still having problems with general fatigue and dizziness. I have no ambition to exercise and just want to sleep. I am 3 weeks out of surgery. I am unable to work a full day due to the fatigue. I have seen my surgeon several times because I started fainting. All of my lab work looked great. I am not diabetic nor do I have any blood pressure problems. My doctor told me I was not eating enough. I am trying to eat but I truely have no concept of what being full is. I fear eating too much and stretching out my pouch.
I am eating 3 meals consisting of about 4 oz. of food and 3 protein drinks. Is this normal to feel this way?

Thanks for all your advice. This forum is great!

I started doing research on the surgeries and found out that the RNY would be a better fit for me. I had to start the whole process over. The surgeon said I made the right decision in his mind and I couldn't be happier now that it is over.

I am still on puree foods for another week. I take a flintstones, B12, calcium citrate. I eat about 500 calories a day (6 oz of puree food) and drink 70 grams of protein in shakes.
My weight loss is in a stall (I have read that you may hit a plateau at 2 weeks so I am not concerned about that) but has anyone else felt their energy crash like I am? Will my body adjust and will this go away? I have lost 60 lbs since 2 weeks before surgery (30 lbs before adn 30 after).
Any advice is appreciated.
