My Progress Pics - 110 lbs down!
Thanks my dear. It is a surreal time. I'm only just catching up now, and I have a feeling progress will be near completion after my panni surgery (just going by what others have gone through). I still have issues eating in public. And I try not to avoid mirrors...but I don't prance in front of them either. LOL.
Some people are faster at getting their head to a better space, and others are slower. We're all just trying to figure out life post-WLS, and accepting who we are...is who we always were. ((Hugs))
Surgery March 23/2011. Completed three full marathons and two half marathons, two half Ironman distances. Completed my first Full Ironman distance (4 km swim, 180 km bike, 42.2 km (full marathon) run) in Muskoka August 30/2015. Next Ironman Lake Placid July 23/2017!
Good for you! Congratulations, you look great! But more importantly, I'll bet you feel great. :)

You should be very proud of yourself. As for looking at the old pictures, it is part of who you were and where you have come from. Take heart in the fact that you have been fortunate to have this tool and the self determination to stick with it.
You look fabulous! But remember you always were fabulous, now it just shows on the outside too!
