I also have trouble swallowing pills. A pill crusher/splitter is a great tool, though not all pills should be crushed.

Just a note for calcium - I buy the big ole calcium citrate tablets and just chew them anyways. They're not "chewable" in the sense that they aren't flavoured and have that crumbly texture, but they're perfectly fine to chew. I just take a few chomps then have a sip of water to wa**** all down. Easy peasy.

The calcium doesn't have a medicinal taste, really has no taste at all. Just an option. Good luck, it can take some time to find what works for you.

Yes it does. Ive found some that were working for mutis but seems its changed and theres less iron, not that ive ever had any even close to low iron levels. And im on the last of my calcium so figuring i should be looking into new and better options. Plus somethings making my tummy all wonky and bubbly at night and i think its the multi i switched to taking before bed. Lol.

I figured chewables online from a baratric website migjt have been a viable option.

*gosh my phone and this site really sont get along

Thank you sooooo much! I've been looking for ages for a chewable calcium citrate as those liquid ones are just nasty and soooo sweet! I asked my local Walmart to order these today and they did so with no issues!

as for iron....I've just seen a new Iron patch at patchmd.com. I'm very intrigued and may give it a try. My iron is soooo low I need infusions every two weeks. Each one takes four hours!!!

Oh my gosh. Im glad ny iron has never even been skightly low. My family has a history of either low iron or way to high iron. Lucky for me ive nwvwr had either and my iron has been good since surgery too.  my one pharmacy gave my grief, walmsrt looked at me like i had 3 heads.  apparently its not common here i guess....

You can also buy the Feramax Powder at Costco.  I know people who also took the capsules and put them in water and drank it that way.

I've ordered things from Bariatric Pal in the past (although I don't know if I've ever ordered calcium from them).  They're fine - I've never had any problems with them.  Orders have been quick and accurate.
