Yes 2 drains - went to the doc the next day to get the drains removed

It was such an easy surgery ( and I compare this to 2 c-sections)

I had a 8am surgery on a Thursday -- home by 1pm

walked around target that afternoon getting pain meds, food, etc

I could have gone back to work on Monday, but I worked from home and went back on Wednesday.

I had lipo done on the sides of the breast -- that hurt big time (felt like my side ribs were bruised)

I could not sleep on my stomach until week 4 ...but began sleeping on my side by week 2

we was the best thing I ever did!!!!

Insurance paid for it, but I am so going to save my money now for my tummy tuck

good luck

Dr Roberta Gartside - who has offices in Reston and Falls Church (INOVA Fairfax).

I got her name from my OB/GYN who has scrubed with her on co-surgeries + who said all the medical professionals & nurses go to her for their plastics --- and hey they ought to know who's good.

Thanks for posting,  I am scheduled for a reduction on the 15th.  More of a lift than a reduction but still.  I hope mine look as good!!

Your surgeon did a great job.  You look wonderful, very symetrical, full and natural..

I wonder why all the bruising.  Do people react differently?  I had alot done and did not have any bruising at all.

it just hurt on the sides -- like I did 10,000 push ups.  mostly like the bone was bruised

but overall the pain of this surgery on a scale of 1-10 was a 4 compared to my 2 c-sections which were in the 8 range

maybe your ps did lipo on that area or something.  lipo hurts like zillions of pushups.  but you will look great and bruises fade quickly.
