What is this tailbone pain all about? Help please?

I lost a significant amount of weight before WLS (53 lbs) and my pain began about a month PRIOR to having surgery. Which means I had three solid years of pain before my tailbone was removed. Your center of gravity is shifted, everything is different, and you might even have had pressure on your tailbone during surgery. Get a ****yx pillow, you'll be glad you did, and for MOST folks that is all it takes to ease your body nto your new life!

I found a foam rubber gardening kneepad at the local hardware store. About 16" square- 1" thick and I cut out a three inch square in the middle of one side and stuck it on my truck seat. Cost $6 I think. Saved my ass- literally!

I can't believe this! There is a reason my butt is so sore all the time now!!!  I couldn't figure it out. I am not sitting in one place for longer than in the past. I haven't fallen....or been hurt. Crazy....no body mentioned this is pre-op classes!
