I count this website as the main reason I am healthy today.  When I first began to explore bariatric surgery, the only type available was the open surgery with staples.  I was very afraid of it.  At that same time, the surgery was evolving to the laproscopic type, and was sooooo much safer for the patient.

As I read the personal blogs here, I began to believe (timidly) that there might actually be some help for me and my MO.  

When I was able to achieve the surgery, it was mainly through the various helpful posters here and the insights that I gained through their struggles.
