We loved watching Hercule Poirot on Britbox. We didn't always make it through without falling asleep, but in a good way. We will be traveling the weekend of the conference but I had a great time in 2024.

G'morning all!

Holy moly, the day got away from me. I looked up and it's already 10:00 am PST. Up since 6:00 so I haven't been lazy, just go go go, and forgot to post.

QJB - cookies are cute, per usual.

Jim- DH and DS are planning on the dead and whatever their new name is at the sphere for Father's Day.

Lisa - you go girl with the grissini, so happy now you can teach other people how to enjoy the grissini with their wine.

Amy - so proud of you for using the stepper. Don't worry about it not counting as steps, you are moving your body where before you didn't.

Teenie - you gotta let me know how you liked the meatloaf. BTW, the plural of nonno/nonna in Italian is nonni.

QOD: We just finished midnight mass, and will be watching for all mankind per JB's rec. I am reading the Capote's women (again JB's rec) and enjoying it. If anybody likes that book I recommend the Deliberate Cruelty about one of Capote's semi-swans. Then I have in my list: when women were dragons (about the women in 1950-60s). The Heaven and earth grocery list is in my queue too. I heard about The Berry pickers and put that on my list. And I copied Jen and bought the tix to see Dune 2 on Feb 29th.

My meals yesterday (egg fast day 4):

  • Bullet coffee
  • Scrambled eggs Chinese style
  • Egg loaf
  • Egg custard, Asiago cheese
  • Hb eggs
  • E: modified weight session (I am slowly increasing the dumbbell weight on my right arm. Up to 8 lbs now)

Happy Fri-yay!
