Hi! Surgery tomorrow

Hi to all, I am having a VSG tomorrow and I am so excited!  I've been lurking and didn't want to jinx my surgery since I didn't know about insurance until just now!  But I am having my VSG done tomorrow morning at Baylor in Dallas by Dr Todd McCarty.  He is great and he's done over 7000 r n y's and laps, and is on his 50 plus VSG.  He's a cancer surgeon as well so I fell like I am in great hands!

Kris, WELCOME to our VSG family!!  Sounds like your in wonderful hands with your surgeon!  One of the most important things is that you believe in and trust your surgeon.  Glad you are no longer a lurker, hope we have helped you with your choice to have this wonderful VSG surgery and now you have to keep us posted on how your doing!  I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers tomorrow.  Just think, in only 24 hours or less you will be on the losing side..............not looking back, just forward.  Onward twards a new life and downward goes the scale, lol!!  Keep us posted!  Congrats on the wonderful news and your BIG day tomorrow!  AMY

Congratulations!!!  it is so nice to hear many many more are having VSG and not only that - insurance companies are finally ok the procedure.  Many of us here are self-pays - we wish insurance would have paid - but none the less I feel it is the best investment I have ever made...

Hi Kris: I lurked for a while myself but after a very short time I realized these folks are the real deal!  So selfless for these wonderful people to share so much to help so so many like you and I.  I am right on your heals.  My surgery is one week from tomorrow, I have 5 days before flying out.  Thank you for sharing.... please know that you are in my prayers.  Hugs Missy C.

Oh Good Luck to You Kris, and to you Missy! I am soooo excited for all of you. You are gonna be so glad that you chose this surgery. I am telling you, I just had it done on the 17th of this month, I know I am loosing, I have no hunger and very little discomfort if any! It is a dream come true! I know it will be for you all too! God Bless. You know I say a prayer every day to God, and I am putting you two onto that prayer list!
