Anyone ever heard of Guillian Barre?
I had Guillian Barre (said Gillian barea), in May. I was in the hospital for 3 weeks and in physical therapy for two months. It was a freak thing. Only one in every 100,000 people get it. To make a very long story short, at first, my toes went numb, then my hands, and then my whole body. It has to do with the ermine attacking the nervous system, causing me to be paralyzed for a couple of weeks. It was very scary stuff. At first the doctors thought it was MS, but it was not. I am fine now, and the chances of getting it again would be like being struck by lighting twice. i was just curious if anyone has had WLS and gone through this, or maybe even know someone who has had it. Thanks for any information.
