Hunger
I do have LOTS of head hunger. One way I can tell the difference is by asking myself "would you want a chicken breast now" if the answer is yes, then I really am hungry. If the answer is no, it's head hunger.
I was also having some real hunger at about 6 months out, but that is MY fault. I was eating too many carbs each day, which emptied out of my stomach more quickly than protein, causing me to be hungry when I shouldn't. To solve this, I had to cut carbs down to 40 a day and keep my cal. to 600-800.
