Protein minimum

I am a Type II Diabetic and although I do not have high blood pressure, my doctor put me on blood pressure medicine to protect my kidneys from the effects of diabetes and the meds.  I was only taking oral medicines.  I am only 2 weeks out, it will be interesting to see what the test say in a few months.  Sorry I don't have any answers for you, hopefully reduced protein consumption helps.  Thanks for your post.

Thank you for the support from a fellow Type 2.   I hope things go very smoothly for you.  Even with this little concern I'm so very, very grateful to have had the surgery!
