Tomorrow is the day!
My sleeve surgery is tomorrow; 8 o'clock check-in and 10:00 surgery. I am nervous, but I am always nervous before any surgery so that's not different! I am having a hard time picturing myself as someone who is at their right weight. I have been overweight most of my life, sometimes only 20 pounds, but still not at the ideal weight. I have lost 30 pounds pre-op and am shopping in my own closet, which is fun. Our daughter is getting married December 13th, and I have just now allowed myself to think that I might look nice in a dress. I think excitement for my new healthy life is overtaking the apprehension about surgery. I cannot wait to join the "loser's bench!!!"
Yay rah! I hope your surgery goes super well!
