Insurance Issues

I've been approved!! Two levels of appeal, lots of arguing from my patient advocate and mal-treatment by Aetna's reps (and according to my patient advocate, they probably broke some laws) - but got word that it's approved now!!

Pre-op appointment scheduled for next Tuesday, surgery to be scheduled for beginning of May. 

WOW. Just. Wow. I've waited for two years now to get to this point and it feels a little surreal and ...well ... scary. It's uncharted territory for me. 

So now on to meal planning for my pre-op diet, purchasing all the chewable vitamins I need, all the soups, protein powder, liquids, etc . etc. etc.
