I'm looking forward to a great day today. The electrician is coming to fix a socket that tried to blow up the house last week and I've got my WLS support group this evening. Aside from that it's, can you guess?, more school work! But my GERO quiz posted for the week and this time there are only 2 essay questions instead of 6, so I'm grateful for that. :)

QOTD: If you didn't have to sleep, what would you do with the extra time? (I'll answer in a comment.)

1: protein shake
2: leftover lamb chop
3: leftover short ribs

liquid and vites: on track
exercise: I'm starting to feel better, so hopefully yoga!

How about you?

QOTD: Right now, if I didn't need to sleep, I'd use the time to get a week or to ahead in my classes and then I'd start reading ALL THE BOOKS. I feel like I have books beyond life expectancy and I'd love to make a dent in them. I'd probably opt to spend some of the time gained meditating. I'd also use the time to exercise, something that occasionally gets set aside due to lack of time. It would be great!

Good Morning!

Look at me being "on time" for the menu thread today! Hahaha. I had an amazing weekend wedding dress shopping and I found "the one" after trying on 3 dresses. It was an amazing feeling being able to fit into the plus size samples (street size 16-18). Now it's time to settle into my desk for another hard day's work.

QOTD: If I didn't have to sleep I would probably pick up another hobby and/or put that time to learning new skills. I'm all about that self-improvement thing lately.

B: 50g Peameal Bacon, 1 Hard Boiled Egg, Babybel Mozza

L: 2.5oz Pulled Pork (Carnitas), 1 tbsp Salsa, 1 tsp Sour Cream + lots of Lime

S1: 1/4c berries, Cheese of some sort, Smooth Move Tea

D: Up in the air. Chicken + Broccoli tots are what I tracked today though so I'll probably stick with that.

E: Probably not. My knee has been killing me since my car accident a few weeks ago with no improvement. Going to the doctor tomorrow to get it looked at.

Totals:

Cal: 708 Protein: 75g Carb: 30g

QOTD: If I didn't have to sleep I would probably either spend more time working (1 have 1 full time and 2 part time jobs). Or, maybe I would have more time to knit and watch TV!

BTW, after GENEROUS dosing with Castor oil, I'm back to eating! I'm just glad I no longer have the pain and constant nausea!

B: Chicken

S1: Oatmeal and protein shake mix

L: Cheese stick with keto carrot cake pancake

S2: protein shake

D: Chicken "parmesan" (chicken baked in spag. sauce with lowfat mozz and parm)

E: Will use the recumbent bike that is in the basement.

Good Monday Morning!

QOTD: The first thing I would do is all the house projects that I never have the time/energy to do - like go through drawers, cabinets and closets and purge. Then the attic, then the basement...then the shed! OMG, there aren't enough days in the year to get all this done. I don't even have alot of clutter, but all these things still need to be done.

B: steel cut oats cooked in almond milk, blueberries

S: hummus and pretzels

L: brought a bag of salad, which needs something protein-y to supplement

D: put together taco stuffed peppers yesterday - can't wait to eat 1/2 tonight! : p

E: it feels warm so far today, so I'll take a nice long walk with the dog tonight when I get home. It's nice that it's still light out.

L/V: working on it.

Wow... it has been a busy, busy few days. Thank you to everyone who was concerned about me and PM'ed me. The people on this forum are great and I missed you guys! Thank you again for caring so much. I am fine. I just had a super busy weekend. I'm going back and posting for the days I missed though, just to keep myself accountable.

QOTD: I would just do more of what I do now. Now, I try to balance, work, life, recreation, god and family. Actually, now that I think about it, I'd love to have time to volunteer at an animal shelter or teaching adults to read (or some kind of tutoring). I would have no problem filling in those extra hours.

M1: Coffee, PP vanilla, miralax

M2: 3 oz Brisket, 1 oz swiss cheese, 1 egg (Make and eat half again for another meal)

M3: Brisket, swiss cheese, egg

M4: LO lobster and scallops (maybe a lobster salad?)

M5: Stone crab claws and shrimp

S: Jerky or other protein forward snack if needed

E: Nothing specific.

Water/Vits: on track
