I never heard that before, Grim Traveler! Do you have place to point me to where I can find out more info on that?

There us a ton of articles and studies on water weight gain while working out, and the nes r impossibility of gaining muscle mass while on a large caloric deficit.

6'3" tall, male.

Highest weight was 475. RNY on 08/21/12. Current weight: 198.

M1 -24; M2 -21; M3 -19; M4 -21; M5 -13; M6 -21; M7 -10; M8 -16; M9 -10; M10 -8; M11 -6; M12 -5.

This is great information! And once again it points to an area I struggle with, which is drinking more water! Very helpful. Thanks for taking the time to reply.

Are you measuring and tracking your eating? The further we get out, the more we can eat. Even a little more in each serving can cause our loss to slow down. Just stay diligent.

By your ticker, it looks like you have lost about half of your excess weight by the six month mark, which is perfectly average. Keep up the good work!!

Thanks, Laura. And you're right, I need to start tracking better because of "volume creep!" And, I appreciate you saying that my loss is "average." Every time I ask about that, someone says: "Oh, everyone's different...don't compare!" and all I want to know is if I'm on track!! Thanks for the info and the encouragement!
