I am having my Lap gastric bypass sept.10th....any words of advice?

I had my sleeve surgery on June 28, 2011. Be prepared to feel bad the 1st week & follow your surgeons orders precisely! You will improve every day. I found that immediately following surgery,it worked best for the water I was drinking to be heated. It helped to keep my stomach settled. Whenever I tried even room temp water, my stomach reacted. I was concerned with repeatedly asking my healthcare team to keep reheat it, but they were very understanding once they saw the difference it made. Once I got home & could reheat it myself it was much better. I am sure you will be happy with the results.

I had my bypass on December 22, 2009 and it was the best gift I could of given myself! It's been 2 weeks since and lost 10lbs. already, yea!

Has anyone on here had the VSG and if so did they have it done on Tricare....I am a military spouse and would like to have this done

I underwent GBP on Nov 12th, 2010 and have lost 93 pounds as of to date...the best choice I have ever made re: my health!!

My surgery is still not set yet, I had to get a clearance from my nurologist first, The lady that sets up the surgery date said if I could everything by yesterday she would set it for the 7th of November.. I am kinda scared, but I want to get healthy and get to my goal weight
