Less than a week to go
on January 7, 2012 7:28 am
It's very early on Saturday morning and I am planning on running around and doing all the errands I won't be able to do after next Friday's surgery. Haircut, nails, grocery shopping, etc. I am learning a lot from reading the roux n y forum posts, too. I have a little bit of nervousness but mostly I feel resolute. Will I be in a lot of pain after the surgery? I had a full hysterectomy and did not suffer unduly. Will I dump? I sure hope not. Will I heal quickly? I sure hope so. I am lucky my family (except for my sister) is so supportive. My sister just worries for my safety. She doesn't realize that the risk is minor compared to the health benefits I will enjoy. I am looking forward to not having diabetes and high blood pressure any more!
