It's been 2 and a half years already! It seems like yesterday I was being wheeled to the OR, recovering, the visitors, calls and flowers.

I have been doing a lot of yoga classes at the gym. I keep missing the pilates classes and we haven't been back to a spinning class yet. I have been swimming more and have been working on a couple of different backstrokes. I am enjoying swimming. I can only go for about 15 mins and then I am spent and quit. I try to do one last length of the pool as a sprint at the end.

I haven't noticed a difference in my weight or the way my clothes fit, but I have noticed an improvement in how I feel physically and that's sign enough for me that I am going in the right direction. I am having fun and keeping with it, that's what counts.

I only have one hockey game left for this spring league I was on. I have had a lot of fun and it has been a good source of exercise and stress relief. When I am out there I am not thinking of anything else and it's good to clear your mind sometimes.

I started reading Allen Carr's EasyWeigh to Lose Weight. I read his book about quitting smoking about 6 and a half years ago and quitting smoking was the easiest thing I have ever done. I always said he needed to write a book about quitting eating, well quit eating badly and overeating. Well he did write a book about eating! It has some good intereting points to ponder. I am about half way into it. I found it on Abebooks.com for pretty cheap.
