surgery yesterday

Well I had my sleeve done yesterday.  It's a bit of a blur at this point but today I'm sipping on ice chips.  My upper left abdomin is very tender especially when I bend or sit up or take a deep breath.  Dr. Alvarez said that's to be expected since that is where they pulled the removed stomach out.  I havn't had any nausea so I am very thankful for that.  I also had my swallow test done which looked fine.  My twin brother called me out of the blue the night before surgery so I filled him in on what I was going to be doing.  He was surprised and worried but supportive.  I'm missing my husband and daughter today.  I'll be glad when I get back home.  My surgery sister and I get dismissed sometime tomorrow.  We'll be taken back to San Antonio where I will spend the night in the hotel and fly home Friday.  I'm looking forward to that! :)
