Well, it’s official! You’re on the losing side. The trumpets are blaring, the cymbals are crashing and the drums are drumming – all for YOU! I hope that all went well for you! You’ve been out of surgery now for a little over a month – YIPPIE!!! Your journey will have moments to “pause” – I’d like to impart some words of wisdom for when it does occur - remember these wise words whispered by Confucius – “It does not matter how slowly you go so long as you do not stop.” Be patient. You didn’t put it on over night, it won’t come off over night (DARN IT!)… RNY 10/31/03 – down 81 pounds!!! Good luck!

UPDATE! April is doing great. She had her leak test today and there wasn't any leaks so she gets to come home on Saturday.

UPDATE!! April is doing fine she made it to the other side. She is now one of the big losers. she is in ICU and doing good. I will update soon.

Congrats April. I am so happy for you and your decision to have surgery. You are now on your way to a new life. Just remember you are always worth it. I hope recovery is speedy. It does get better. You will have some bad days, but they are worth it too. As a member of the losers club, I just want to say welcome. Enjoy the new you. Wendee Eaton member since January 30, 2003.
