Weigh In, surgery pics and depression. Oh my.

Yeah, I've been MIA.  It started off innocently enough.  We went to Europe for 3 weeks.  Then we came back and I headed straight into quarter end at work.  That was crazy busy for 3 weeks.  Then I had surgery (hysterectomy) 3 weeks ago.  Physically I am healing well but this thing is kicking my butt big time.  I had my RNY last December and I felt FANTASTIC.  I had so much energy and I felt amazing.  This is a completely different experience.  I am exhausted.  I am nauseated.  I am depressed.  The depression may be related to surgery.  It is a common surgical side effect.  But, since I do have a history of depression, it may be completely unrelated.  Hard to tell, honestly.  I just know it sucks.  I am aware that I am withdrawing from life.  Nothing interests me.  I just feel blah.  The holidays are my favorite time of year so I really hope I feel better soon.  I've been looking forward to this time of the year for months now.  Maybe I need to go to my beloved Hawaii for a few days for a little pick-me-up??
