Describe your behavioral and emotional battle with weight control before learning about bariatric surgery.
My overall outlook on life is not exciting. I awaken worrying about my weight, and go to bed at night thinking about it. I have many helath problems that inhibit my ability to exercise without pain, and once weight is lost, it quickly returns. I was approved for surgery once before, but pressure from family members made me cancel the surgery. I lost 25 pounds, but quickly regained it back. My osteoarthritis in my back and knees is so painful, a trip to the grocery store is all I can handle and the pain will set in. I have a BMI of 37, and need to lose at least 75 pounds.
