my journey to Gastric bypass

Hey, thanks for stopping by. My name is Courtney I am a single 23 year old girl from Oregon. I have been technically over weight most of my life though it did not spiral out of control till I was 19 after a traumatic break up. I suddenly gained 60 lbs and was not able to keep my weight under control. During this time I became extremely depressed and was put on a depression and anti anxiety med which caused me to gain 20 more pounds. I did lots of fad diets and yoyo dieting nothing seemed to help. I always had stayed fairly active and had a active job in the medical field. I started looking into Gastric bypass as a tool to help me get my life under control back in 2013 but my insurance would not cover it. I changed insurance companies in 2014 and was able to look further into it and now finally after a year and a half of preparing for this day it is now just 3 days away! I will have gastric bypass surgery on may 26th 2015.
