I'm close!  Only 10 more days, until my RNY surgery.  This week has been a diet of high protein, low carbs.  I've been doing good on it.  I've also been studying alot about other RNY post-op patient's experiences and suggestions. Whey protein powder is going to be my best friened.  There are also some good recipes online for high protein shakes.  I've had my daughter come over to the house to help clear out freezer and pantry of the wrong foods, and we will go shopping for my post op supplies tomorrow.  I have set my pantry up so that every shelf that is eye level is mine.  Currently they are empty, but will soon be occupied by only the healthy stuff.  I am also doing all of my heavy cleaning around the house, and organizing my closets.  All of the elastic waist stuff will be near and easy to access.

I intend to make my first few weeks of post-op surgery a very focused effort on exercising each day, eating and drinking as perscribed, and establishing healthy habits that will make me another long term success!  I know that it will be hard in the beginning, but if I keep on trying each and every day, I will be successful.  I am so tired of being sick and tired.  I am only (lol) 60 years old, but I hate that I feel like an old woman that can't do the things that I physically want to do.  And heavens, I look forward to the day when I am not embarrassed trying to buckle the seat belt on an airplane!  Sitting in a seat, trying to give the person next to me some room!   Eeeesh......

My goal is to lose 100 lbs.  I weigh 260 now, and anymore than 100 lbs lost will be twice the blessing...........
