1 week and 1 day after surgery

It has been one week and a day since I had surgery. So far everything is going great. I am down 10 pounds so far. I have stopped taking my pain meds the other night after only having them at night for a few nights. I drove yesterday a short trip to the market and even though i was tired from it it was nice to get out and be self sufficient again. I have my follow up with the doctor next Friday the 17th. I am looking forward to eating a wider variety of foods when i can move to the mushy soft foods on December 22nd. Stay tuned for more next week...
