The beginning of the rest of my life!

Hello...I joined this website in September while investigating and then deciding on the Rouen-Y procedure.  Aftermuch investigation into the pros and cons, I decided to go for the gold.  My surgery was done 11/2/11 by Dr. Joseph Moran and he did an outstanding job!  I have had minimal discomfort, little need for pain medication and already feeling better!  
I started this journey due to my family history of heart disease, diabetes, stroke, cancers, obesity...my brother died last year at a young age due to heart failure...it opened my eyes.   So, here I am...ready to change my life, be supportive to those who may need it and be supported from those of us who know that this is not "the easy way out"...it is interesting that many people feel that way...if they only knew...lol.   I am looking forward to this new adventure and being a part of this important program...hoping y'all have a very blessed and successful day!
