Day 6 post-op and sick puppy :(

Well I am on day 6 post-op, meaning I am on full liquids today. Can I just say... it feels amazing. I'm so happy. I had a lovely hot chocolate today, that I really have wanted for a month now. 
I haven't had a lot of pain really. I found where my port was, cause I was apparently too drugged to ask when I left the clinic.
So far, I haven't felt that hungry, and the liquids just satisfy and ensure that I don't feel hungry.

I posted a forum topic about fills. My HUGE thing is needles (I'm terrified, terrified, terrified, of needles) and I was scared about pain, and discomfort and how much poking around there was. I was thrilled to have some good responses and great video links sent to me so I could watch some be done from other people's experiences. It really helped.

As for more personal things, today my doggy had to go into the hospital. He hasn't even in a few days, and he has been puking up a lot (I mean... you'd think he had the band and ate a cheeseburger 2 days post-op) and so we are very nervous. I know he gets wonderfully care at the vet we have (they are seriously THE BEST) but I am still scared for him. He is 11 and a half years old, which is old for his breed, and has had health problems all his life. So tonight, nothing but positive vibes for my little buddy. I hope he can come home in a few days and be on a road to recovery. 


Now I'm off to have some tomato soup for dinner, and hope tomorrow brings really good things for my baby boy.
