Week 1 of Pre-op Diet

So, this first week was HORRIBLE! I had alot of trouble getting some of the product down and actually sticking with it. It's hard to start something so different when you have been used to something else for so long. I needed to realize that this was good change and its what I've been wanting for so long. I tried really hard to do well the first week and I only cheated once (with a pickle haha). I didn't really exercise.. a few walks but that was about it. I weighed in Apr. 22nd and I lost 7lbs my first week! I was so happy :) I was hoping for at least 5 and was shocked that I had done better than that! I think the first week was definitely the motivator for me because now I see that I CAN do it and as much as it sucks (because it really does) I'm still going to give my best effort to keep the weight coming off. I haven't even had surgery yet and I had no idea I could lose that much in a week! I am really excited to have the surgery done!
