NSV w/fall cloths
Sep 13, 2010
Well it's been relatively chilly around my neck of the weeks recently. (Gasp... low 60!!) The other day I pulled my pink fleece out of the closet to head out to a birthday bon-fire. Generally from season to season I dread trying my clothing back on. That's the moment when it sinks in that I've gained a few lbs. The rest of the time I can rationalize it away or just don't notice the cutting fit to a waist band.
The end of last winter I'd gone shopping with a great GF of mine and bought this cute pink/rose fleece (blue loafers but that's another story). At 3x it was a tight fit. I could barely get the zipper to come together under my belly and then I just squished myself up like a sausage in it. I never wore anything thicker than a t-shirt material cause there was no extra room. (I'm to warm most of the time so that wasn't really a problem.)
The other night while holding my breath I slid my arms into the jacket and pulled the zipper together and WHOAAA... I could actually over lap the material by a good inch and half!!!!!! I shown 3 of my GF's. LOOK Look at this!!! The scale may not be moving but things are changing.
It's just another reminder that I"m doing well. I keep going this way and I'll be in a great postion come surgery time (10/26). Keep logging my food, upping my protein and going to the gym.
