First of many

Yesterday we went to a family function on my Husbands side of the family.  We don't see his extended relatives all that often.  We were the first to arrive, at one point my husband got up to help his father bring in some folding chairs and during that absence a couple of his Aunts and Cousins arrived.  They literally looked threw me.  It was an odd sensation to realize that they REALLY didn"t recognize me. While I've lost about 10lbs from surgery date, at this point I'm a total of 40lbs lighter than the last time we had meet.  LOL


After the event that afternoon we were changing out of our dress cloths and James, looking at my from behind, took an intake of breath and stated how much he could see the difference.  That made me smile.  He sees me every day so to have my Hubbs a little tongue tied isn't a bad thing!
