Surgery Eve.......

Well here goes. It's been a long five months from when my wife came home and "reminded" me about surgery. On the family scene things had been very hectic and tough for a few years. Lots of turmoil, normal life stuff, so I had put this surgery on hold. Then things quieted down....

Intially I had no insurance, but I fixed that, but at a high cost. BUT BUT BUT at least I'm insured for potential issues which might come up.  So I've gone from tentative to hopeful and now dedicated, as I look at this new step. I'm geared up and prepared to take the leap.  Lost 55-60 pounds. Doc is very happy with my pre-op diet, though I have always been good at losing........ so not so much a suprise for me. I'm below the magic number of *400* which seems to make all cringe in the medical profession. So here we go....

I've started my blodd thinner injections. Packing my bags...I need to be at the hospital bright and early at 5:45 AM, Surgery at 7:30 and then the hard part begins. Wish me luck!!
