It has been awhile since I posted. Will update my pictures at my 1 year bandiversary. I am plugging along and although I had intended to lose all my weight in one year, I am accepting the fact that as long as it is slow and steady my chances are greater for long term success. I did have a non-scale victory. I cleaned out my closet and got out my clothes I had packed in the attic to go through them before I passed the sizes up. I took a chance and tried on my two little black dresses I wore on my honeymoon 7 years ago. They both fit and one I must say looks fabulous and I intend to find somewhere to wear it... I went downstairs and showed my husband and he asked 'where did you get that'. I said don't you recognize it, I wore in on our honeymoon in St Lucia. He of course looked at me like I was crazy then realized it was and said 'wow you look great. I told him I never thought I would see the day that I could fit into this or my wedding dress if I wanted, but won't go that far to undo the storage preservation package. Although I wasn't at my goal weight when I got married, seemed to find 20 lbs along the way while dating my husband. I fill just as great about myself as I did back then. More confident. All for now.
