4 Days Post-Op

I'm starting to feel some what human again. Still dealing with some nerve pain around the largest incision. It seems to be going away finally... YAY! 

My blood pressure was a problem on the second day of post-op and I had to take some meds to bring it down. It worked for a bit, but then it went back up. It settled down a bit. Enough for them to push the highness off as stress and to let me go home on time. So nice to come home and crawl into my own bed... 

I'm able to lay on my left side, which is my favorite... but, rolling over is too painful and not comfortable on my right side. So, I sleep for a while on my left side, then when I wake up, I go and sleep in the recliner for a few hours, wake up from there and then back to bed. IT works and I'm able to get some good sleep. 

Still on the Bariatric full diet of mushy stuff. I'll go to the Doc next week and get the go ahead for the puree foods for 2 weeks. 

Hopefully, we'll be going to look at Christmas lights this weekend and I'll be up for it!
