Hi there!!!

I can't write anything on this thing without crying so I will just say that my surgery is July 15, 2009 and I can't wait.

Oh!  One more thing...my birthday is July 14th so I'm looking at the 15th as a brand new start.

Yay!!!

3 months post-op!
on October 16, 2009 12:25 pm
Can't believe it's been 3 months already, but then again it feels like it's been forever.  Since the surgery I have lost 60 pounds.  Absolutely amazing!  I'm so proud of myself because of all the changes that are happening in my life.  The biggest change that I'm most proud of is the eating habits of my daughters.  While still not perfect, their eating patterns have been greatly affected by my surgery.

I get busy at work, I have rehearsal every evening, I don't have time to cook and therefore, we ate out quite a bit.  If it was near the opening of my show then we would drive-thru every night and go back to rehearsal.  I was keeping Mickey D's in business!  .....But now....you could probably look in the business section of the paper and see that McDonald's stock prices have gone down because WE DON'T GO THERE ANYMORE!!!  LOL  Poor Ronald McDonald misses us, I bet.

OMG! I cook at home now!  Not every night, but a whole lot more than before.  I'm lucky in the fact that my husband is a very good cook.  Well maybe that's unlucky too because he can make some GOOD food!   Tonight I'm going home and making some Turkey Chili.  Can't wait!!!

I am very thankful that I was able to change my life for the better with this surgery.  I can't wait to see more results.
