pre-op class and hospital visit

So me and my husband went to my pre-op calls yesterday at the surgeons office and off to the hospital for pre-op stuff.  It has become a reality to me but the closer I get to my date (08.15.11) the more i worry that something will happen to stop it from becoming a reality.  I think about being in a car accident, being arrested by the police (for what I don't know), getting sick before surgery date....anything negative to keep me from getting to 08.15.11 and being sleeved!  I know, I know, its kinda crazy, but this stuff has been crossing my mind. 

I have 2 more day of work so I have been trying to get everything off my desk so no one will have a hard time covering for me in my absence.  I plan to take 2 weeks off work...I have short term disability so I might as well use it to get as much recovery time as I truly need.

I have 4 children 17, 16, 5 and 4.  The oldest 2 (boys) are aware of the surgery but the youngest 2 (girls) have no idea about it.  I thought that was the best way to handle.  My husband will be home with them so hopefully one night without me won't go so bad.

Well anyway, thats all for now...I will update probably right before I leave going to hospital for my SLEEVE!!!!!
