Good MORNING fellow October BABY!!!! - and an early Happy ONE YEAR Re-birthday to you!!! I’ll be in sunny Las Vegas for a week so I wanted to send you early salutations! Daniela you will be coming home from the hospital shortly. I know you well. We have gotten so close in the past few months. I know that you will make the best of the tool you have been given. Remember we have each other to support each other should we get too cocky or should we forget where we came from. As promised I did not bring you a pair of size 8 jeans...LOL My angel girl you are on your way. You are on the losing side and I always knew it would happen. Good Luck!

Angel Up-Date... I just got home from seeing Daniela at the hospital. She looks wonderful. I can't believe how good she looks. She has some color back in her face and she doesn't look at bloated as she did yesterday. I am so thrilled for her that she has had an uneventful recovery. If you saw her you'd never know she had surgery. I had an appointment with Dr. Leitman today and he told me when he walked in to see her this morning he said she didn't look like she had surgery and wanted to know if she was ready for surgery...LOL Good Luck my angel girl!

I spoke to Daniela this A.M.. She sounds absolutely great!!!!! She was still pretty tired last night, and I wanted to check in with her. She says she is walking like crazy, and all her pre-op walking and exercise helped her out. She feels almost ready to come home. She can't sit still. I am truly thrilled for her. She is drinking water and sucking on ice chips, with liquids tomorrow. She claims she'll be back online when she gets home on Sunday!!!!

Well, as Deborah reported, we went to see Daniela today. She has incredible strength and determination. She is not taking pain meds and is walking quite a bit. She is doing more in her first day post op w/ an open RNY then I did at a week w/ a lap surgery. Congrats again!!!!!!!!!! You will be a terrific "loser"!!

Angel Up-Date... Hi all, I went to see Daniela today. When I got there Ann and Daniela's husband were there. Daniela looks fabulous. She got out of bed a few times. She walked down the hallway twice. I am truly impressed at how wonderful she is doing. She doesn't like to take medication so she is fighting taking the morphine. Daniela welcome to the losing side. Now you are a real loser!

YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I knew you could do it. As Deborah posted, Daniela had her surgery and is doing well. I am going to see her tomorrow afternoon and will post again, then. Daniela, you have a terrific support system of friends and family who will help you get through the tough parts of post op life, and then I know that you will be able to do what it takes to make the most of the tool you have been lucky enough to get!!!

Angel Update...I am happy to report that Daniela had her surgery as scheduled today at 12:00 and she didn't chicken out. I recieved a call today from Daniela's friend Donna. Daniela made 3 lists of people that should be called after surgery. One for her husband, her sister and her friend Donna. Now that is what you call well planned...LOL Donna informed me that Daniela is doing fine. She said her pain was not to bad and she was still in recovery. I called the hospital at 6:30 and she still was not in a room. The operator answered immediately and said she was in a room. I said boy you are good. She said well someone had just called about Daniela... I'm glad to hear that she has many concerned friends checking up on her.
