Heavy heart and sad stories

A few days ago I read on someone's blog that she had checked out the "Memorials."  So I thought it would be a really good idea to head over there.  Well, I spent this evening reading many Memorials and it has left me with a heavy heart.  The stories were so sad.  I have had major surgery 3 times in my life (tonsillectomy, gall bladder removal and a C-section.  I am well aware of the problems/seriousness of having major surgery.  I also know that weighing 333lbs. is extremely bad for my health.  I have to weigh the seriousness of major surgery vs. the seriousness of obesity. 

I will continue reading and researching while waiting to hear whether the psych report has been received by my doctor so that the paperwork can be sent in to my insurance company.  I know that I'm making the right decision and I look forward to having WLS.
