Hey guys, I had the lap band surgery about 2 years ago. I had been trying to find a good liquid liquid vitamin/supplement and someone introduced me to Vibe. I have been taking it for a year now and feel so good in so many ways. I want to get the word out to fellow lap band/gastric bypass patients. If anyone is interested in hearing more about it, or trying it for a month, please feel free to call me and ask questions.  Despite struggling with my weight I love my life and I feel blessed to have had the amazing experiences I have.  I have an awesome family! I hope to spend the rest of my time on this earth enjoying my family, career, traveling, antiquing, painting and living without the burden of weight worries! I've gone from size 24/3x to a 16/L so far. I'd be completely happy to be a size 12!

PREGNANT and BANDED -October15,2008
Well folks...I'm almost 36 weeks pregnant now. Had most of my fill removed and have eaten like a horse throughout this pregnancy. I've gained more than I care to admit but I'm glad I can refill my little tool and get back on track after the baby arrives in a few short weeks.

I haven't weighed in a week, but I've been dieting at a feverish pitch. I felt thinner so decided to take a pic...and a picture is worth 1000 scales.

1-23-08...Still doing great...

Well...I've been keeping my calories super low for 2 weeks now. I had been exercising this whole time. I haven't the last 2 days though and I'm bummed about that. In my defense I really wanted to but I've been extremely busy.

I decided this morning on my drive to work ( where I do all my thinking because I have a moment of peace) that I need to set some long term goals that don't involve weight loss. Now I just need to think of some...

I've been eating oatmeal and that seems to really help me. I like the weight control kind...added protein and fiber. I eat baked chicken, green beans, peas, soups, lean cuisines, poached eggs, small amounts of pasta and rice, cauliflower, sauteed squash and zuccini with onions/garlic/EVOO,crackers and baked or mashed potatoes occassionally. I've really restricted my refined sugar eating these past few weeks and I'm so proud of myself for that. Sugar is my crack. My 2 best friends are flying in from the northeast to see me for spring break and I'm really excited. I'm using that as a goal...to lose 15 pounds in 2 months before they get here.If I reach my goal maybe the 3 of us can have a girls night out...I need one!

I've been "dieting" my ass off the past two weeks because I had gained 9 pounds. I'm just now back to where I was this summer. This band will only take you so far people...the rest is hard work and exercise! ( Ugh) And please don't look at the mess...this is the spare bedroom.
