My Story

Have had a weight problem every since our son was born in 1975.  I tried everything.  Didn't matter what I did I couldn't keep from gaining 5-10 lbs. a year.  I was very depressed because I did eat right and I did excercise.

I was begining have some serious health issues.  High cholesterol, high blood pressure, high blood sugar and just recently Metabolic Syndrome was the name they gave my inability to loose weight.  I was to the point where I wanted to give up then I heard about Bariatric Gastric ByPass Surgery.

I started to  research everything I could find and read it all.

In the mean time our daughter found out she had Diabetes and had tried about 5 different meds and none worked.  Funny how that runs in families.  I tried lots of different meds for my health issues and they didn't work either.

For our daughter the Gastric ByPass was life saving.  As it turned out she had hers first.  I had mine in June 08 and I couldn't be happier.  YES, it hurt at first.  YES, I have to be careful what and how much I eat, but so what I was doing that anyway.

I am on the road to a better healthier me and I love this new road.
