Saw My Therapist Today - 14 days until surgery!

Today was my therapy session. It was wonderful to share about the anxiety I've been having about the surgery and that I almost changed my mind about the type of sugery. I have come to a place where I am at peace with this surgery. I have decided to get the sleeve.  Just 14 more days and counting.  

I was just told that the protein shots with like 42 grams dont absorb well according to the tests they recently done.  Ok, so I took mine back today.  Tell me what to do, I will do it. :)  I feel wonderful being at peace.  I am grateful for options, support groups, my therapist, my son  <<<  ( love my son)  my sponsor, my doctor, all the wonderful people who I got to meet through options, dieticians who taught the class, teachers, nurses, social workers,  etc etc etc.    Although I was impatient in the beginning, I now understand the process.   I know it is easier said, now that I am almost there.  but it is how I feel now.  I respect all surgeries, all types. 

Today I am feeling happy and hopeful.  Today I love myself. Today I am grateful.
