revision candy cane roux en y surgery

I am having surgery on 1-6-15. I had the first surgery 7 years ago. I was very pleased with everything. Then about 1 year ago, I started having sour stomach problems. Went to the Dr and he prescribed prilosec. As time went on it got  worse and worse.... by August I was to the point I could hardly eat, severe sour stomach, and severe nausea. I was so week I was hospitalized for 4 days. I had a upper GI done along with cat scan and tons of blood work... Nothing!!!! I just kept loosing weight and still had all symptoms. It has come to very little eating now ( cooked broccoli, about 1/2 cup and about 6 little cubes of boiled chicken )for lunch and for dinner. I still get severely nauseated and severe sour stomach, and have lost 65 lbs. I am loosing about 10lbs every 2 weeks or so. I am 128 and 5'2. I called my surgeons office after 7 years, and they ordered alot of blood work and a that stuff you drink as the radiologist watches. when I went and seen my surgeon, it took him 5 minutes to figure out what was going on and showed me the film with the candy cane in the picture. I just love my surgeon !!! I have had him  for two other surgeries. My question for anyone out there is.. what were your symptoms for this candy cane thing and did the surgery help???   Thank you for any input :)
