Comming up to two weeks

Thursday ( two days) will be two weeks after my surgery , this will also be my Birthday ( 53) Wish I had done this at 40! It is also the day I will try having pureed foods. I hope to have some mashed potatoes with some soup. We will see.....I am not hungry at all but I want things that taste good. My sister in law was visiting and made pork chops with mushrooms and mushroom soup sauce, I mixed some of the sauce with some cream of potato soup and that was yummy. I froze some of the mashed potatoes she made to have when I can have pureed. It will be nice to have protein that isn't whey.
I have been cooking for the family and it isn't too bad I try and make a big batch and freeze half so that I won't have to cook every day.
