Carlos Weber, M.D. My surgeon was kind and caring. He is personable and really knows his stuff. He has been doing Gastric Bypass now for several years. I could not have asked for a better doctor. He truely cares about his patients. I rate him an A++++++

journey with us.
You look fantastic.
Hi, my name is Mitzi and I live on the island of Maui in Hawaii. I started at 312lbs and a BMI of 42. I have lost 157 pounds and weigh 152 lbs which at 5 "11 1/2 inches tall (okay six feet) which puts my BMI at 22. I had gone down to 148 lbs but people said I looked sickly so put back on five more. I hit goal very quickly at 10 months and am very lucky to not have loose skin. There was one complication that started at about a year out. I started getting cramps that became more frequent and more severe. At 20 months out ( October 2006) I had to go in again for surgery to untangle my intestines that were obstructed. Even with this complication I would do the surgery over again in a heartbeat. I have no regrets. This surgery has been a blessing in my life and I am very grateful.

*** My #1 advice to all pre-ops*** go to www.fitday.com download the program to your computer ( i think it dosen't cost more than $25 bucks or so) and do it everyday. Once I did that program the weight flew off and I hit goal very quickly.
