So Grateful!
Sep 12, 2013
It's been a while since I've posted. I am 10 weeks out from WLS (Gastric Bypass). I have lost 40 lbs! I started at 200 lbs day of surgery. I am 5 ft 0 inches! I now weigh 160 lbs. ! I am considered a light weight. I had many co-mobidites. My goal weight is 125. I am 35 lbs away from goal!!! I am so grateful for my tool. I started out taking five medications. Three of the medications were for high blood pressure one was for Acid Reflux and I was taking a medication for restless leg syndrome. I was diagnosed with borderline diabetes and that was my push to have WLS per my doctors recommendation due to my medical history. I also had a diagnosis of sleep apnea. I am now happy to say that I am only taking one medication for my high blood pressure and that's it, other than my required vitamins! I no longer have sleep apnea. My doctor said when I loose another 20 lbs I will be able to stop taking the medication! I feel so good, I have a lot of energy. I am starting to feel more like I did about 12 years ago when I was smaller. My weight problem became worse over the last 7 years I have no regrets, I would do it over in a heart beat! I am enjoying my retail therapy! I am so excited about my healthy journey to better living, the best has come!!! PS. If I could get my pictures to upload I would. I am having a difficult time uploading my photos HELP!
