Ive got it!!! My surgery date is October 12th, 2010! I am super excited and super terrified at the same time. I know this is going to be great for me. Its just a little scary when they talk about the mortality rates. I just want to get it over with and be okay:)Its been a journey to get here with all the hoops you have to go through for insurances and the surgeons have their own set of pre-reqs too. B/C my BMI is over 40, I only had to do a 6 month program. If it had been under I would have had to do the program for 2 years! The program is a diet and excercise sched. set up my your doctor and a nutritionalist. I had to write down everything I ate for 6 months along with all the excercise I did. Then I had to go show it to them and get it checked off that I was doing it every month. 2 years would have been so long to wait!
Now that it is only 3 1/2 weeks away I am starting to get all the nervous jitters....Hopefully time will pass quickly. I just need to keep busy.....
