20 Things...

So this week is my last psych appointment.  YAY!  My doc said that he was ok with approving me after we met one more time to see if I lost more weight and see how my eating habits and changes are going.  He also gave me two assignments - 1. To read a book called Mindless Eating by Brian Wansink (I am a slow reader, but it's so interesting!) and 2. Make a list of 20 things I can do when I am sad, lonely, stressed or bored.  So, here they are -

1.  Go for a walk
2.  Take pictures (I love photography)
3.  Read
4.  Go to a class at the Y - love spinning!
5.  Call a friend
6.  Take a drive (nothing better than the windows down on a summer day)
7.  Visit MIA or Walker
8.  Knit
9.  Journal/Write
10.  Take my son to the park
11.  Go to the pool (in the summer of course)
12.  Give myself a facial, manicure, pedicure, etc.
13.  Take my son fishing
14.  Make a collage
15.  Plant / Groom flowers outside
16.  Go to the zoo
17.  Work on my check list of home improvement projects
18.  Visit my sisters and brother / nieces and nephews
19.  Take a class - drawing, photography, art, etc.
20.  Pick something off my bucket list and DO IT! - yes, I actually have a bucket list.

Well, other than the psych stuff, I have six more pounds to lose and seven more weeks before my last dietician appointment.  YAY!  Things are flowing along!
