Surgery Scheduled... Anyone have any words of wisdom?

Well, I am happy to report that I have finally gotten a surgery date - June 20! 

I have been trying to get things done to prepare myself - I guess I am just not sure what to expect or how I will feel since I have never had surgery before.  Overall though I don't feel nervous or scared, just READY.  I am looking forward to getting over this hump and starting my new life. 

Anyway, next week I will be finishing up at work and will be off 2 weeks.  I really hope thats enough time.    I have my pre-op on Tuesday and then surgery Monday the 20th at 11:00 a.m.  It still boggles my mind that I am letting someone cut me open at my own choosing.  I don't care though... I just hope everything goes as it should and I can rock my sleeve and the new me in no time... 

Any words of wisdom or advice would be greatly appreciated!!!
