I originally had gastric bypass on 2/11/2005. At surgery I was 406 lbs, my highest weight was 423 lbs. I lost 113 lbs in the 1st year. I kept it off for a while but in 2007 I had my son. Everything changed at that point. I was able to eat more and put on more than 1/2 of the weight back. I had a few problems..I was able to eat junk but not the better choices..Chicken, veggies, leaner cuts of meat all got stuck. I could eat a full bag of chips but not a piece of chicken. I threw up quite regularly and In Sept I found a doctor did the revision so that I could stop vomitting..So far it has worked. I rarely throw up anymore and if I do it's not the same as it was before. It's simply from eating too much or something that doesn't agree with me but it's not 20 times in a day and it only lasts a few minutes as opposed to 12 - 14 hrs! So far I have lost 67 lbs and I feel awesome. My little boy is three and I have never been able to run and play with him. In the last month, I have been able to play soccer, tennis and baseball with him and I am loving it. I feel like I am a new Mom with a new attitude and I love it! Two days ago I bought myself a new bicycle. It's been 27 years since I have been a bicycle but I got on that thing yesterday and rode thru my neighborhood and it was the greatest feeling ever!! I work out every single day. I walk 2 1/2 miles and I ride the stationary bike for 2 miles!! If you knew me, you would know how absolutely incredible that was for me. 3 1/2 months ago, I could barely walk thru the house without breathing heavy and now I love exercising!! I actually look forward to daily activities. I am loving my new life!
